WORLD NEWS: US AIRWAYS PLANE CRASH IN THE HUDSON RIVER
A miracle took place today on the Hudson River, when US Airways flight from LaGuardia to Charolette carrying 155 passengers ran into a flock of geese and lost power to the engines and crashed. Thankfully they had one heck of a pilot who landed them safely on the river and all passengers are alive and well( one woman did suffer a broken leg but is doing well at this time). One person noted: [The pilot] had 2,900 ft., which translates to about 80 seconds, to survey the situation, devise a plan, and carry it out…. landing on water… framed by 12 million people… with NO power and limited control… without anyone getting seriously injured. Pilot, Chesley B. Sully Sullenberger is a true hero!
I absolutely agree that pilot Chesley Sullenberger is a hero. This was a breaking news and everyone just couldn't believe that it happened. It's indeed a miracle.
